at OGF 25: Connecting & Catalysing User Groups for Best Practices & Standards 2-6 March 2009, Catania, Sicily, Italy

The workshop was co-organized by DReSNet, OGF, OGF-Europe and OMII-UK. The workshop began with a session of Policy Standards where Mark Hedges from DReSNet spoke about Fedorazon.

The workshop explored Use Cases and Best Practices from a range of perspectives. As part of this, Mark Hedges also chaired a session including a talk on standards perspectives by Jen Jensen from the Science and Technologies Facilities Council (STFC), a partner in DReSNet. The session also covered interoperability perspectives and environmental perspectives.

The workshop ended with a roundtable debate on the challenges of Data Repositories in a grid environment.
